Computerworld‘s Scot Finnie has an article entitled “20 things You Won’t Like About Windows Vista” today, which includes screen captures. It’s a long piece, but rather interesting.

I found his top twenty to be particularly accurate when I came to number 5 “Faulty assumption on the Start Menu,” in which he details the hiding of the Shutdown button in favor of the Sleep button, and number 4 “Installation takes forever”, which it does. Both of these features in Vista are insipid.

I have only used Vista essentially as a home user at this point. But, I noticed most of Finnie’s observations as well. I hope in the coming weeks to do some networking and connecting to Longhorn Server and at that time I will do some posting here regarding those experiences.
